Things are about to hit critical mass. More on that soon.
I've never payed much attention to Feist. She never quite had the same mood that Cat Power had, and so I was fine sticking with Cat Power. This recent single "My Moon My Man" has changed my mind. I am a sucker for subtle and simple atmospheric compositions: Cat Power and Erik Satie come to my mind first as favorites. I think Leslie Feist has really hit the perfect note, and the video is really good (think OK Go and that Fatboy Slim video with Christopher Walken and others)
I'll definitely consider buying the new album now.
Right now I am just waiting for phone calls and emails. I hope this weekend is my breath of relief.

When I worked at Barnes & Noble in Norcross, we had selected discs to use each month for in-store play. After discs were replaced, music employees got dibs on them. I remember playing the hell out of Feist's "Let It Die", and it was one of the CDs I got to take home. She's really good.
You probably know this, but she sang on "Riot On An Empty Street" too.
two things
One- there is a KCRW recording of Feist doing "I Feel it All" from her new album and you should find it because it blows the recorded version out of the water (though that one's pretty goo)
second
heard a song Yoko Ono and cat Power- Revelations that is beautiful
bless you for your greed, it's a sign of capacity
bless you for your anger, it's a sign of rising energy
bless you for your jealousy, it's a sign of empathy
Find them!
This is the song from the cell phone commercial! You have such good taste. You should do a music blog so I can find new things to listen to.
